The Women in Surgery series under the Awareness Department of the Surgery Interest Group is an ongoing initiative focused on highlighting the experiences, challenges, and achievements of women in the surgical field. It features established female surgeons who share their career journeys to inspire and guide medical students and trainees interested in surgery, with a particular focus on empowering female aspiring surgeons.
