AWARENESS DEPARTMENT

The Awareness Department of the Surgery Interest Group (SIG) is a student-led initiative dedicated to promoting awareness of surgical conditions among students and the broader community. This department organizes a variety of campaigns and events across different venues including the university, hospitals, and public venues to enhance the understanding of surgery’s vital role in medicine while providing accurate information to facilitate early identification and understanding of surgical conditions.
Our initiatives focus on key issues such as etiology, risk factors, clinical presentation, and the role of surgery in treatment.

To achieve these objectives, the department collaborates with volunteers, healthcare providers, and mentors, all committed to raising awareness about the surgical specialty.
